Rockin’ Customs is a nonprofit organization focused on restoring and donating instruments, as well as helping connect underserved musicians with affordable music education and community support.
The goal of the project was to create a visual identity that felt authentic to guitar culture while remaining flexible enough for nonprofit outreach, merchandise, social media, and promotional materials.

.

Early visual exploration focused on vintage guitar brands, amplifier graphics, and classic music merchandise aesthetics. Key focuses included: Strong logo silhouette - Merchandise-friendly branding - Vintage-inspired typography - Flexible color variations - Music-driven visual storytelling
Exploration of typography, icon integration, and color direction after initial follow-up meetings with the president and board. These iterations lead to the final identity system.
The completed identity system gives Rockin’ Customs a cohesive visual brand capable of supporting community outreach, fundraising, merchandise, and future growth while staying rooted in music culture and craftsmanship.
